A small boy can´t wait to visit his grandparents for advent so that he can perform his latest magic tricks. Mother and grandmother hope this will be the occasion for the father and grandfather to be reconciled. The young boy has learned from his father how to perform a new magic trick that uses fire. After the trick goes wrong, escalation of the conflict seems inevitable.

However, instead of attacking each other, the father and grandfather start to care for the boy. The mother and grandmother are delighted by the newfound harmony. However, the grandfather wouldn´t be who he is if he didn´t use his every chance to make life hard for his grandson.
